Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about buying, selling, and creating NFTs on Digital Collectibles Marketplace.

Getting Started
What is Digital Collectibles Marketplace?
Digital Collectibles Marketplace is a non-custodial NFT trading platform built on the Polygon blockchain. It allows users to browse, buy, sell, and mint unique digital collectibles (ERC-721 NFTs) directly from their own wallets — no intermediary holds your assets.
Do I need to create an account?
No traditional account is required. You connect your Ethereum-compatible wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.) and sign a one-time message to verify ownership. Your wallet address acts as your identity on the platform.
Which wallets are supported?
Any EVM-compatible wallet is supported, including MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Ledger, and any wallet compatible with WalletConnect v2. We recommend switching your wallet to the Polygon (MATIC) network before transacting.
Buying NFTs
How do I buy an NFT?
1. Connect your wallet using the Connect Wallet button.
2. Browse the Explore or Marketplace pages to find an NFT you like.
3. Click on the NFT to open its product page.
4. Click Buy Now and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
5. Once the on-chain transaction is confirmed, the NFT is transferred to your wallet.
Can I pay by card?
Card (Visa / Mastercard) checkout is currently being integrated with supported payment providers. It will be available shortly. At the moment, purchases can be made with MATIC, ETH, or USDT directly from your crypto wallet.
How is the NFT delivered after purchase?
Delivery is instant and fully on-chain. Once the blockchain transaction is confirmed (typically within 2 seconds on Polygon), the ERC-721 token is transferred to your wallet address. You receive a delivery confirmation including your order ID, payment reference, token ID, contract address, and transaction hash as proof of ownership.
What blockchain network is used?
The marketplace is currently live on Polygon (MATIC), selected for its low transaction fees (approximately $0.001 per transaction) and fast confirmation times (~2 seconds). Ethereum and BNB Chain support are planned for future releases.
What currencies are accepted?
Currently accepted currencies are MATIC (Polygon's native token), ETH, and USDT. Fiat card payments (GBP, EUR, USD) will be available once payment provider integration is complete.
Selling & Creating
How do I list an NFT for sale?
Navigate to Sell, connect your wallet, and select the NFT from your collection. Set your price in MATIC or ETH, configure a royalty percentage (up to 10%), and submit the listing. The NFT will appear in the marketplace within seconds.
How do I mint a new NFT?
Go to Create, upload your artwork (JPG, PNG, GIF, MP4, up to 50 MB), fill in the name, description, and attributes, set royalties (0–10%), and click Mint. You will be asked to confirm a transaction in your wallet to deploy the token on-chain.
What are royalties?
Royalties are a percentage of future resale proceeds paid to the original creator. You can set a royalty of 0–10% when minting. Royalties are enforced at the smart contract level where supported by the platform's ERC-721 implementation.
What content is allowed?
Creators must own or hold the rights to any content they upload. Prohibited content includes: copyrighted material you do not have rights to, explicit or adult content, content promoting violence or illegal activity, and content that violates the rights of others. Violations may result in listing removal or account suspension.
Refunds & Disputes
Can I get a refund after buying an NFT?
All NFT sales on the platform are final due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions. However, we do accept refund requests in limited circumstances: technical failure preventing delivery, accidental duplicate purchase, or demonstrable payment processing error. Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. See our full Refund Policy for details.
What is the delivery proof I receive?
After a successful purchase you receive a delivery receipt containing: order ID, payment reference, wallet address, smart contract address, token ID, on-chain transaction hash, and a link to verify the transfer on Polygonscan. This serves as your proof of delivery for any dispute.
How do I contact support?
